  Who wil pray for me?

I pray for everyone, but when my heart has been broken, who will pray for me?

Being different from my dream self when it comes to Praying

I often desires to be slow and calculative when I pray.

When I start each time I often love the Composure, but the moment I prays longer that two munites I see myself only speaking english and not the prayers that I should pray.

Other times I feel more at ease giving thanks to God  even for longer period of time than I say prayers.  And when I say thanks giving words to God I feels He has heared me .

I want people to tell me if I am getting prayer wrong.

  Facing divoice
I have fialed my wife and children by not being the Christian man I should have been. Because of my neglect my wife has committed adultry and is now considering divoice. I have asked her and my family for forgiveness and have since strived to restore my relationship with God and my wife. Her heart has been hardened. Please pray for my family and for God to restore our family under His mercy and glory. My wife says she needs her space and doesn’t want anything to influence her decision to split. I am in desprate need of prayer, help and advice.

FASTING AND PRAYER FOR POLITICS AND MILITARY

Subject: Prayer Request

Good morning, Fasting and Prayer group, how are all of you? Forgive me for not corresponding sooner, but evil has been afoot, and yes, VICTORY abounds, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

In recent news, we have witnessed alarming events concerning the presidential race. Personally, what I have learned from it, is that we cannot tell who the right candidate should be either by "looking" or listening to what is said. All of the candidates are good at what they do (campaigning) and as Christians, we should definitely seek the Lord's guidance on who should hold this office. The Word of God tells us to "try everything by the Spirit", and we know that certain aspects of the candidates' platforms either embrace or are against God's establishment--FAMILY--but we need God's guidance and wisdom, in this decision, because only God knows the heart of a man (or woman).

As a fasted and prayed-up group, we have divine access to the Throne Room of our Lord, and if you feel led, please pray for God's intervention in this decision. With recent world events, I believe you will agree, this choice is crucial. I also believe that we should pray for American Armed Forces to have an end to the war(s), meaning please pray for resolve to the international crises so that all involved are able to reunite with their loved ones, and senseless killings can STOP.

It would also be good to share your experiences (difficulties, progressions, and victories) with the rest of the group concerning your fasting and prayer experience.  Please know that you are special and precious to the Lord, whenever you endeavor to be closer to HIM, not for his hand, but for Who He Is.

May the LORD continue to richly Bless you, Amen.

BEING COMFORTABLE WITH GOD.

I belong to a church that is quite formal in its liturgy. As a priest I wear robes in church, kneel to pray, and use set forms of prayer. But when I''m at home on my own, coming to God in prayer each morning, what really matters is being comfortable with God.

I sit on my sofa, looking out over our very small garden, with my little dog snuggled up right against me. Sometimes I have a cup of herbal tea in front of me. I read my bible readings, then sit back and talk to God. I''m not "pally" with God. I speak to him with great reverence. But I''m relaxed in body, mind and spirit. As the sofa is soft and receptive around me, so God''s love is all around me and welcoming me. As my little dog is close to me and feels safe, so I am close to God and feel safe.

This is a wonderful climate for faith to increase and for prayer to be a renewing and refreshing experience.

  When...

When I went to a women's Retreat though my chruch we learened one way to pray along with many others.  But my faveriot was when we learned what is called the breath prayer.  What you do is you say your name use your name for god(father, heavenly father etc..) then you say your prayer request and wait to see if he answers.
