This is probably the best networking site I have ever joined. Because it has a purpose. And very specific at that. Although social networking is in itself a good thing, networking for prayer and faith are far more noble. I have always believed that Religion should bind and not segregate and the fact that Our Prayer is for everyone affirms this. We are all welcome. Sinners and saints. Seasoned and novices. Weak and strong.

Without thinking twice I applied for the volunteer prayer writers group. Not to say I am perfect for this. Sure, I write. I think it is one of my gifts. But more importantly, I have taken the low blows. I want to help pray for people because I know how it feels to be empty and helpless. I will ask God to use my gift so that others will know Him, without having to know me.

And without being hypercritical about my work, I posted my first blog. And I have this serene feeling deep inside me as I write this, that there will be more.
