Clear that Cache!
Clearing your cache can significantly improve the speed and performance of your browser. Why? Each time you access a file through your web browser, the browser caches (stores) it. In this way, the files (including any images on the page) do not have to be retrieved anew from the remote web site each time you click the Back or Forward buttons.
You should periodically clear the cache to allow your browser to function more efficiently.
The following procedures provide steps to clear the cache memory for a variety of browsers:

Clearing Cache on Safari 1.0 / Safari 2.0 for Macintosh OS X
Open Safari.
Select Empty Cache.
Click Empty on the Are you sure message box.
Exit and relaunch the browser.

Clearing Cache on Firefox 2.0 for Macintosh
Open Firefox.
Click the Firefox menu and select Preferences.
Click the Advanced icon and click the Network tab.
Click Clear Now under the Cache section.
Click the "X" in the top left corner to close the Advanced window.
Exit and re-launch the browser.

Clearing Cache on America Online® 6.0
Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
Click Delete Files.
Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click OK.

Clearing Cache on America Online® 7.0
Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
Click Delete Files.
Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click OK.

Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
Click Delete Files.
Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click OK.

Click Start and select Settings, then Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
Click Delete Files.
Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click OK.

Click Start and select Settings, then Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
Click Delete Files.
Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click OK.

Click Start and select Settings, then Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options.
Click the General tab.
Click Delete under the Browsing History section.
Click Delete Files in the Delete Browsing History dialog box.
Click OK.
Click Close.
Close and relaunch your browser.

Click Edit and select Preferences.
Click Advanced.
Click Cache.
Click Clear Memory Cache.
Click Clear Disk Cache.
Click OK.

Click Edit and select Preferences.
Click the Triangle next to Advanced to expand it.
Click Cache.
Click Clear Cache.
Click OK.

Click Tools and select Options.
Select Privacy.
Click Cache.
Click Clear.
Click OK.

Click Tools and select Options.
Click the Privacy icon.
Click Clear Now in the Private Data area.
Click Ok.
Exit and relaunch the browser.
