Looking at Clouds from Both Sides

Last night, I found on Youtube, a song by Judy Collins called "Both Sides Now" that was popular my freshman year in college. It brought back some of the feelings of uncertainity that pervaded that era of war protests and moon walks. Everyone was searching (or so it seemed) for meaning... for purpose... for love... for individualism... for peace (not unlike today).  Now, as mother and grandmother, I am definitely looking at clouds from both sides. I thank God that the searching of my youth led to my spiritual awakening!   What once mystified the heart of an 18 year old, is now perceived through eyes of faith with the understanding of who God is and what He has done for me.  I am thankful... and still gazing at clouds.

SO READY

Spring's sweet breath peeks through winter's grasp.  Anticipation tickles the child in us!

JOY

Sorrow lasts through the night, but joy comes in the morning! Do not lose hope when it appears that darkness overcomes the light. Rays of hope are always present if we pray for the grace to open our spiritual eyes.
