I love your story. May I add, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven...." Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

I am so sorry for your recent loss of your beloved "Horchow". I cried watching the final scene from Ghost and remembered the grief I felt in the loss of my own beloved kitties over the years.
But God has healed those wounds and I thank Him for blessing me with their company and love.

Sabra, I also journal. I've been doing this for over 25 years-how time flies! It gives me peace and helps me figure out my life. I really am talking to God everytime I journal. He's my best friend and I love talking to Him. Thank you for sharing. May God bless you. Donna

Hi Sabra,
I have been reading your blog for a while now (it is the only blog I read) and I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy it! Thank you for sharing these moments of your life. I have journaled for about 22 years now and a couple of years ago I moved 3000 miles and took only what would fit in my car. You can guess how much room in my trunk was dedicated to all those journals. Blessings to you!

Beginnings, endings and everything in between...
My goodness, how tall Solomon is getting! I was recently going through old photo albums and found one of my oldest son on the first day of kindergarten in his little red shirt and shorts, wearing his backpack and holding his lunch box. Hard to believe that this is the little version of the now-college graduate with a beard who is upstairs talking on the phone to his girlfriend, who someday may be my daughter-in-law. I miss the little Drew and am in awe of the years between but am so proud of who he is now.
The enjoyment and love you express about your family, Sabra, makes me love and appreciate mine more. Thank you and blessings -
