A Prayer for Fort Hood

Merciful Lord,

In the aftermath of the tragic shootings at Fort Hood that took the lives of 13 people and wounded 31, we ask for Your comfort and strength. We pray that You will grant Your healing hand to all those affected by this tragedy. You are a loving God and we pray that Your love will prevail. Where there is hate and evil, we ask for love and goodness to abound. Believing that You are willing and able to hear and answer, we pray in Jesus' name.
