Journey:
I was never baptized or raised in any religion. I got baptized (sprinkled) the week before we got married because my husband was Catholic. About 18 years later we began exploring other churches and at the same time I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and really accepted Christ for the first time because I saw Christ in action.
Update! On March 29, I was baptized by immersion, thanks to a friend who shook me by the ears. Oh, it was the greatest thing! May I always be able to grasp that peace and joy whenever I need to! Every day is a new adventure and may I hang on for the ride.
