About Me
Bio:
When I was 17yrs old, I married my high school sweetheart. We were married until I was 32yrs old. I wanted a family, and to buy or rent a house. He didnt want any of that, and our marriage was a series of ups and downs, with him always winning. I got out of the marriage, and immediately found my husband. We got married less than a year after my divorce from my first husband, and then 2yrs after that, we had our little Daughter. We love her more than anyone on this planet, except for God. I prayed all of my life for her, and God blessed me with her in 01. Im friends with my ex-husband, and his wife. My life is mellow, mostly. Im just working on being a good Mom, and enjoying my family life. We bought our home 4yrs ago, and its wonderful. We have 3 sweet, little dogs, and 1 silly cat. We love them dearly. We have a privacy fenced back yard for them to run, and play, and, as a family, we love it. Our home is our sanctuary from the world.
Journey: Raised w/o God, mostly. Except for a few things my parents did, like putting up the last supper plaque, and 10 Commandments plaque in our home. My Aunt took me to her Church when she could. When I was little, my Grandma lived down the street from the local Catholic Church, and I would be drawn to the shrine of Mary in the front. I loved to go past, and look at her. When I was 10yrs old, a nun visited me in Carndinal Glennon Hospital for Chrildren, and gave me a Miraculous Medal, and prayed for, and with me. I never forgot that, and I remember not wanting her to go away. That was the only religion I had. I remember searching the 10 Commandments plaque when I was between 5-10yrs old. I read it, and tried to see if I was doing right. That was in the 70s. In 91, I went to classes at the local Catholic Church, and became Catholic in 92, but got divorced in 98, and fell away from Church for awhile. Ive been back since about 03, and dont intend on getting lost again. I needed God when I was little, and I need Him now, just as much! My regret is, that I wasnt raised in fath, with God, and my biggest wish is to be in a God filled family.
