About Me
Bio:
I have been in broadcasting for over twenty years. I have done pretty much everything in radio and television both in front of the microphone and camera as well as behind the scenes. I was born in Poughkeepsie, NY and began radio broadcasting career at historic WKIP in Poughkeepsie in 1984 which originated President Franklin Roosevelts fireside chats in the 1940s. (Not including my previous stint of hosting a Broadway and light opera music show on the community college radio station in early eighties.) I worked several years with the Trinity Broadcasting Network''s New York television station and was a field producer for some of TBN''s east coast projects. I have worked at several radio stations in the Hudson Valley of New York as well as in Florida. Most recently as the Program Director and Morning Host for 1260 WBNR / 1420 WLNA until I accepted the position of General Manager/CEO at The Sound of Life Radio Network in 2004. I also run my own audio production business, am a motivational speaker to businesses, organizations and a consultant. I have served as a pastor and in every area of church and para-church ministry. I am particularly passionate about ministering to families. I hold a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Theology as well as an Associates of Science Degree in Communications and Media Arts. I am licensed minister and holds credentials with General Council of The Assemblies of God. My ministry is best expressed as encouragement. I am married to the love of my life of 21 years, Cathleen and have three children, Jonathan (19), Alyssa (18), and Christy (12). Cathleen and I are very active in leadership with our church, Faith Assembly.
Journey: Jesus saved me on February 19, 1982 while a patient at New York Psychiatric Hospital in White Plains, New York, after several bouts with depression and a suicide attempt. In desperation, I cried out to God in that hospital room. Jesus revealed Himself to me and I surrendered my life to Christ. I received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit a couple weeks later and was Water Baptized that following summer. Me and my wife, Cathleen grew up in the same neighborhood and have recollections of each other as early as 5th grade. We acted opposite each other in many plays and musicals in high school, but were not speaking to each other by graduation. After high school I went to college and shortly after went into the psychiatric hospital and Cathleen went to college where we each encountered Christ personally. We attended the same church after salvation where God healed our friendship and five years later we were married on January 10, 1987. My calling to ministry was felt when I was a boy and was renewed at my conversion. Though reluctant at times I always knew I had been set apart for God''s purposes. Cathleen and I believe in, support and have faithfully served in the local church. Our calling to ministry is one as a team and we take the Ephesians 5 mandate regarding family relationships very seriously. I have served as a Deacon, Children''s Minister, Associate Pastor, as well as a personal assistant to a Pastor. Cathleen has served as a worship leader, Sunday school teacher, women?s ministries leader, and assisted me in leading children''s church at a previous church. Cathleen and I believe God''s greatest calling on our lives is to take the church to the marketplace and reach lost people where they live, in the corporate, political and entertainment arenas.
Interests & Activities: I''m a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan! Love footbal, enjoy aviation, cooking, but most importantly, sitting quietly watching a movie with my wife, Cathleen.

Goals and Dreams: To know God and obey him whoe-heartedly. To help others both discover and fulfill their God-given purpose. A personal dream of mine is to someday get my pilots license.

Proudest Moment: When my oldest daughter last year invited me to be her date to her junior prom.
