About Me
Bio:
Journey:
Interests & Activities:
Denomination:
Goals and Dreams: I want to spread the word of God to others. Period. I feel i was kept alive on the streets to tell my story so that others can see that there is a way out and its by looking up when your feeling down.
Inspirations and Role Models: Watching my Mom fight cancer 4 times and continue to work and provide for herself was an absolute inspiration of strength and an incredible work ethic. (and a heartache at the same time). Seeing my grandparents celebrate their 50th Anniversary was an inspiration for my marrriage. Seeing my older brother live 8 years as a quadrapalegic as a result of a car accident & still smile and laugh showed me perserverance & watching my father relearn everything he''s known for 72 years inspires me to not give up on anything
Proudest Moment: Beating the devil and taking my life back from drugs on 12/10/2005, which was no smail undertaking, but God heard my cries for help and carried me because I was much to weak to walk. To this day I have no desire to use only a burning desire to share my story of God, hope, strength to those who are still lost and looking.
Biggest Challenge: I would say my biggest challenge is taking care of my father who has Alzheimers. I am his caretaker 24/7 with the help of my absolutely phenomenol husband when he''''''''s not working. I''''''''ve been doing this since 12/03 and 3 months ago got out of the house overnight for the first time since I took this on. I promised I would care for my parents and not toss them aside and I will do it to the best of my ability until he''s called to God
My Favorites
Bible Verses: "Worry not about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself" Matthew 6:34 - this verse has come up in my life so many different times that I say it must be my "Life Verse" - "One Day at a Time"
Books: Anything by Max Lucado, Iyanla Vanzant, Rick Warren or from the Trinity House or Hearst Publishing Families
Music: Newsboys, Mercy Me, Amy Grant, Amberlin, Jars of Cly, anything by our church band, they are phenomenal and put all their heart and soul into the music for the parishoners but mostly for God''''''''s ears
Bible Teachers:
Quotes: "Don''t cry for your love one who passes, smile knowing that God gave you the amazing oppurtunity to love them for as long as you did" - In Memory of my Mom, my best friend who I know is waiting on the other side for when it''s my time to be with her again. Jennina M. Jenness 4/19/32 - 11/16/00
