  “This has been a topsy-turvy year,” writes FAY ANGUS of Sierra Madre, California, “when prayerfully laid plans seem to have gone wrong and our family has had to literally live the word trust. After much prayer, my son made a major job change that involved relocating to Denver. Caught in the housing crunch, his home has not sold. It’s been agonizing months of Dad in Denver with Mom and the four children still here in California and all-too-few weekends snatched here or there. ‘We all love Denver and we’re excited about the move. I don’t understand. God’s leading was so clear,’ my son groans. We cling to Proverbs 3:5–6: ‘Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding . . . and he shall direct thy paths.’ We wait and trust. How long, dear Lord, how long?”
