What sort volunteer opportunities are available?

We have 3 types of Prayer volunteers: phone, web and personal prayer response.

What do web volunteers do?

Web volunteers are given access to a secured area to pray for each need while online or from a printed list. The “web way” of praying offers great flexibility to busy lifestyles.

Do phone volunteers make calls?

No, phone volunteers receive phone calls on our toll-free prayer line. It is all at no cost to you at scheduled pre-arranged times. Volunteers answer calls at home for a minimum of one to two hours each week. For further details on this option, please call 1-800-935-0158 ext. 4347.

What is a Personal Prayer Response Volunteer?

Personal Prayer Response Volunteers are trained to write personal prayers to encourage and comfort those struggling with distressing circumstances. The inspired prayers are e-mailed to the person requesting prayer without disclosing the identity of the volunteer or his/her email.
