PrayerWhat is a private prayer request?
Private request is a prayer request that is prayed for by OurPrayer Volunteers.
What is a public prayer request?
A public request is prayed for by OurPrayer Volunteers and is posted on OurPrayer Prayer for Others page.
What is a personal prayer response?
When you select personal prayer response your prayer request is prayed for an OurPrayer volunteer who will write an inspired prayer for your specific need. The prayer will arrive in your email from the Personal Prayer mailbox at OurPrayer.
What is RealTime Prayer?
RealTime Prayer is prayer with a trained OurPrayer volunteer using our instant messaging software.
When is RealTime Prayer available?
RealTime Prayer is available whenever a RealTime volunteer is online and not assisting another OurPrayer visitor.
Who prays for the prayers?
OurPrayer has an extensive group of trained volunteers who pray for requests. OurPrayer visitors may also pray for public requests.
Why don't I see my public prayer?
Prayer submissions go through a screening process before they are posted. Your prayer request will be posted within a few hours.
How long before I receive my personal prayer response?
Our prayer volunteers strive to respond within 24 hours. We handle your prayer with the utmost care and apologize if it is taking longer. Thank you for understanding.
Why did the second page prayer options change?
There are options for members and nonmembers. To access membership prayer options you must be logged in.
